About MAKE
At MAKE, we believe creators deserve a banking solution that gets them. One that’s fast, intuitive, and built to help them grow. We’re building the world’s first financial platform tailored to content creators — making it easier to earn, spend, and save money across borders.
MAKE was founded with a specific purpose in mind to address the underserved needs of the Creator Economy often overlooked by traditional banking while bringing forward technology, banking, and global solutions for our Creator Economy Clients.
About the Role
We are seeking a Reconciliation Manager to oversee and scale our high-volume transactional reconciliation function.
Given that MAKE processes millions of dollars in cross-border transactions for creators daily, you will be responsible for ensuring our transactional ledgers perfectly match bank accounts and partner clearing statements, minimizing discrepancies and operational risk.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and scale the operational and transactional reconciliation function across global entities.
Design and optimize automated tools and workflows to reconcile high-volume client transactions against bank feeds, clearing networks, and card rails.
Investigate, track, and resolve structural breaks, settlement discrepancies, and matching anomalies promptly.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Treasury to resolve data ingestion failures or platform bugs impacting financial matching.
Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly operational health metrics and break reports to finance leadership.
Requirements
4–6 years of experience specializing in high-volume transaction reconciliations, payment operations, or settlement roles inside a fintech, PSP, or bank.
Proven leadership or team management experience in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional data manipulation and analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Strong understanding of international payment clearings (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, Visa/Mastercard processing).
Meticulous, analytical mindset with a passion for process automation.
Nice to Have
Experience implementing automated reconciliation software (e.g., ReconArt, BlackLine).
Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or Information Systems.
Familiarity with the distinct accounting needs of creator platforms and digital walleteering.
