About the role:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about storytelling and thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and content strategist who can balance creativity with data, building content that grows audiences, supports the customer journey, and drives business results.
In this role, you will own MAKE's content strategy and production across blog, social, video, email, and other channels. You'll work closely with SEO, product, and growth teams to create high-quality, conversion-focused content, establish MAKE as a thought leader, and build a scalable content engine that supports the business as it grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the content calendar and manage content production across blog, social, video, email, and long-form assets
Ensure everything we publish is high quality, on-brand, and tied to business outcomes
Work closely with SEO, product, and growth teams to ensure content is both discoverable and conversion-focused
Develop content programmes that support the full customer journey — from awareness through to onboarding and retention
Commission and edit content from internal experts and external writers, maintaining a consistent voice while ensuring accuracy and depth
Track content performance and use data to inform what to create, prioritise, and optimise
Over time, build and lead a team of content specialists and help shape how MAKE tells its story globally
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in content marketing, with a strong portfolio of written and multimedia content
Strong writing and editing skills — you can write well yourself and edit others to a high standard
Experience managing content production across multiple formats and channels
Understanding of SEO and how to produce content that ranks and converts
Ability to work with subject matter experts and translate technical concepts into accessible, compelling content
Data-driven — comfortable tracking content performance and using insights to improve
Experience in a fast-moving, early-stage or scale-up environment
Nice to have Qualifications:
Experience creating video or podcast content
Familiarity with the no-code, automation, or AI space
Experience using AI tools to speed up content creation workflows
Some experience in a B2B SaaS environment
