About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager at MAKE, you'll own a meaningful part of our roadmap. The surface is wide payouts, multi-currency accounts, virtual cards, splits, crypto  and where you focus will depend on your background and what excites you most. 

This is an early-stage environment: the roadmap is live, the team is lean, and the decisions you make ship to real users fast. You'll work directly with end-users and partners, not just internal stakeholders, bringing their signal back into what we build. 

You'll also be expected to improve how we work, not just what we ship. This role is deeply technical and deeply human at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product outcomes from discovery through delivery in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Lead API integration initiatives by defining requirements and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

• Create detailed product requirements and technical specifications to guide development.

• Conduct user research, synthesize customer insights, and continuously improve product experiences through iterative design.

• Lead partner and client scoping conversations to gather requirements, validate constraints, and translate business needs into actionable product plans.

• Drive product decisions by balancing rapid experimentation with regulatory, security, and scalability considerations.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, neobanking, or payments.

• Experience working in a startup environment, owning outcomes end-to-end, making decisions with incomplete information, and moving quickly without waiting for direction.

• Strong technical background with experience owning or closely collaborating on large-scale API integrations.

• Ability to write clear product requirements and technical specifications that engineering teams can confidently execute.

• Strong UX instincts with experience conducting user research, translating insights into intuitive user experiences, and iterating based on customer feedback.

• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, including leading discovery and scoping sessions with partners.

• Hands-on knowledge of global banking and payment systems such as SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, and real-time payment networks.

• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while balancing speed with compliance, security, and scalability.

Nice to Have

• Experience with card issuing (BIN sponsorship, scheme rules, tokenisation via Apple/Google Pay).

• Exposure to crypto rails or stablecoin on/off ramp as a complementary fiat layer.

• You've shipped developer-facing API products you understand what good DX looks like and can write specs that make external integrators successful
