About the Role
We are hiring Junior Onboarding Compliance Service Associates to support MAKE’s growing creator community. These roles will focus on customer onboarding and compliance processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for users joining the platform.
Given our regulated environment, candidates with previous banking, financial services or licensed FinTech experience will be prioritized. These roles will work closely with Customer Support, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure onboarding processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support onboarding-related processes, including KYC/KYB verification and account setup
Review customer documentation for completeness and accuracy
Assist with customer due diligence (CDD) and basic risk checks
Identify and escalate incomplete, suspicious, or high-risk applications
Work closely with Compliance and Operations on onboarding-related cases
Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and decisions
Follow internal policies and regulatory guidelines
Contribute to onboarding documentation and process improvements as MAKE scales
Requirements
0–2 years of experience in Operations, Customer Support, or Banking
Prior experience in a bank, fintech, or regulated financial institution preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within regulatory and compliance guidelines
Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes
Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
Nice to Have
Experience with KYC, onboarding, or account verification processes
Familiarity with AML or compliance-related workflows
Experience using CRM or onboarding tools
Interest in fintech, creators, or digital platforms
